I want to build a library or a coworking space that can fulfill the needs of many people that want to study or work but can't because there are not that many places open for 24 hours, and free, to top that off. Feel me as a student; can't be having to spend additional expenses for a drink (?) or a snack (?) that is usually unnecessary. Not counting the sugar and other health aspects that may come together with that. Although, of course, you can always exercise more to get rid of those substances and it's good for your body to workout more often. You are going to reap the sedentary life that you sow today if you don't.
It would be a huge achievement for me and I think that's what people call as virtue? This could even be my biggest achievement I can imagine yet. The dream comes from my habit of working something in a quiet, chilly, and comfortable place. I can't find it in most of the coffee shops in my area. I could find them in coworking space! And public or private library definitely. My personal favorite would be the city's public library! It's completely free, has a wide variety of subjects of books to be read and borrowed, and the ambience there is just perfect. Although, sometimes, there would be a visitation from the local kindergarten, elementary schools, etc. and, well, the children will surely scream and shout; talk about lightening up the atmosphere of the place. That's probably the only cons there as I don't like it that much.
I think of library for not only reading books, but also for making or creating something with one's passion or simply for work. It's what I think could attract people to come here. Hopefully not only on occasion, but on a daily basis, perhaps. Just like what people do when they go to the gym or the swimming pool and a bunch of other attractive places. They actually see some benefits upon coming to what mentioned prior. Maybe you want to build muscle, lose fat and gain mass, maybe you want to make your body more flexible through the exercises that you do; both places can give just what you want. Library? Hold it right there. Reading is indeed a long term thing if we are talking about investment. Investing our time not for the sake of today's needs but also for the next ten or twenty years later. You don't actually get "something" the minute you finish your favorite book or that one book you saw online which people are massively recommending others to read. Except, when you are in school, you read those books that your professor told you to since, the following week, you will have an assessment; or you want to finish your notes from the last class you attended.
The sparks sometimes fade and I often see it almost vanish, but the dream still lives on. Cheers to 2023; so on n so forth!
Adios!
